i've been using LR crusaders for a while now, and yes there useful in engaugements but the shortness of the weapons makes them tough to use any other way and there large transport ablity is good but if one is taken out the whole formation is really held back as your not going to leave 3 bases behind.

I definately think for clarity's sake the LRC should have a basic normal attack, then an extra normal and an extra macro.

Identical ingame, but much clearer on the datafax.

I agree with this 100%!  And then you don't need the potentially confusing note or anything and it all works.

Just name it "Pintle-mounted Multi-Melta" and give it the shooting attack and +1EAMWFF and then a single +1EAFF from the Hurricane Bolters.

What's wrong with:

Code Sample: 

Armoured Vehicle

Speed   Armour  Firefight  Close Combat
25cm     4+       5+           6+

Hurricane Bolters     (15cm)     Small arms      Extra Attacks (+1)
Twin Assault Cannon    30cm      AP4+/AT4+
Pintle Multi-Melta     15cm      MW5+  
                 AND (15cm)     Small arms      Extra Attacks (+1), Macro Weapon

Notes: Reinforced Armour, Thick Rear Armour, Transport (may carry
two Terminator units OR three of the following units: Space Marine
Tactical, Devastator & Scout units).


It's clearer, simpler and the hurricane bolters are still the main weapon.

Name it "Pintle-mounted Multi-melta" and you've got a winner...

There's already a "Multi-melta" weapon, and it doesn't give extra attacks.

BTW zombocom the LR crusader is CC +5, and i don't mind either way to do the stats but the new one is a bit clearer.

yes the frag lanchers give it CC +5

ok so before i put out a new version i've been working on the way the list looks, what do people think? (i've updateded the link in my stig)

and i'm not going to change the BT stats untill the LR crusader stats are sorted out but here are the proposed changes:

-Emperor's Champion go's back down to 50 points

-Thunderhawk Transporter's formation base cost go's up 25 points

- change the LR crusader stats

can anyone think of any others?
