There was some discussion about "shrine-specific" Exarchs a little while ago, so I whipped something up.

It's very raw and experimental, and I'd prefer if all the Exarchs were about the same strength/value.  Take a look and let me know what you think!

Yeah, I know... but the model has one...  *laugh*

I have no idea why the "shooting" Aspect of Dire Avengers even has the Dire Sword option except for the cool old Dire Avenger Exarch model.  *laugh*

Looks really cool Chroma. I can't wait to start working up a list.

Since you're on the subject have you given any thought to Autarch types?

Designing different Autarchs would be the same to designing different Space Marine Captains....so not really needed.

Thanks!

I don't think there are "Autarch types", as they don't get access to the relic weapons of Exarchs, just the "standard" ritual ones of the various Aspect Shrines.  This would be represented by whatever Aspect Warrior unit they've been assigned to as they already get +1EAFF and +1EAMWCC... which covers most of the possible options with enough detail for Epic.

I think that this is way too fiddly.

All the Exarch models are actually equipped with said weapons, so it's WYSIWYG!  *LAUGH* How is that fiddly?

And this is just for people to have fun with in friendly games and such.

I'm with Hena, actually. The Eldar already have a huge number of units to remember, and expecting your opponents to remember the varient stats for many individual character types is just unfair.

Not to mention that this level of micromanagement belongs in the other game.

And here we disagree... *laugh*

This is just for fun and won't be implemented in the Tournament army lists.

I understand that, yeah, and if people want to use them then great, but it's just too far down the micromanagement route for me.

I can see your point Zombo, but this looks like a lot of fun to me, especially if it's agreed upon before the game by your opponent.

I'm definitely gonna try some out.
