As I am getting back into BFG (Still need to find an opponent) I thought I would ask a few questions to help me in my endeavour to rebuild my fleet.
1) What has happened to transport ships? They seem to have dropped off of the web page
2) Are there any newer rules for the Hawkings class exploration cruiser and invincible class fast battleship? (both in BGF mag issue 13
The invincible seems reasonable for what it does, but the Hawkings seems somewhat overpriced at 245pts. Since it is just a dauntless with
+1 Ld
+1 turrets
Ignores BMs and such likes when moving
Can launch 2 fighter squadrons
But costs more than twice as much!
Though in the text it says you can take the Hawkings with its 75pt captain in a pointed game (rather than historic) at 255pts. This puts it at 180pts which is a lot more reasonable.

1. Prolly being repackaged at the moment.
2. No new rules for either unofficial ships.
