Rhino's! I really HATE painting rhino's! I've only got 20 of the things and i've got 14 done but they really are so damned boring to paint! You've got to do all the windows, the hatches and handles, raised areas, weathering.,..GRR! But do the damned things DO anything in return? NO! They just accumulate blast markers and die in droves whilst your marines hide behind them...pfaH!

Anything. What can I say, I dislike painting the minis. Love playing with them and owning them, but really hate painting them.  

Now what that means is I have to keep my painters happy though.

I'm a stickler for detail i'm afraid and the RHino's i'm painting at the moment are classic marine heraldry kind of stuff; i can't get away with a wash :-(

Better make sure to add the appropriate dirt and grime as well...  Have you thought about what color the mud should be?  Or is it static dust?

:-).

(I've always been a little bemused by the WH/WH40k paint jobs with the bright colors... it's not as if they're taking showers or using Tide)

Ah but in 40,000 they have developed paint that Dirt, Dust, and Mud will not stick to and thus every vehicle and armored suit looks like it did when it came off the assembly line.

Wouldn't want to blend into the dirt... that'd be unsportsmanlike.
:-).  And in WH DUSTBEGONE! is one of the most oft-used wizard's spells.
