I'd quite like to get a bit of a discussion going with some of you more experienced players concerning the relative merits of the various Eldar titans.
I'm torn between the Phantom titan and the Revenent pair. Having used both at 3000 pts my observations are listed below:
Revenants:
Whilst mean when in range and with their excellent maneuverability and ability to move, shoot, move, i did find that the revenents could be a bit flimsy. The 45 cm range can be quite hard on them sometimes, as even with a 35 cm jump back move it still leaves them in doubling range of most mechanised enemy fms. I've also found that they're quite easy to suppress and even break. As a BTS fm they do inevitably attract a lot of attention and whilst i have had success with them i often find myself wishing for something with a bit more staying power. That being said, when it has gone right with these boys, they have laid some ultimate smack down on non- RA fms.
Phantom:
The Phantom i've found is a damned sight more reliable than the revenents. It's very difficult to break and is never suppressed. The leader ability and RA armour keep it fighting for much longer too. In addition the extra +1 on both FF and CC is fantastic. I'm also a fan of the extra range and better critical result. I have found it to be slightly lacking in ooomph though. 4 x TK shots just doesn't seem to provide enough bang for buck IMO, especially when compared with what the revenants can throw down. That being said i've never tried it with the powerfist. I'd imagine a raging phantom titan in your backfield with the eldar hit and run rules, getting involved in multiple FFs and a big stompy powerfist could be quite a scary prospect.
The Warlock is pretty much a no,no for me, as i mainly play 3000pts and wouldn't be able to take any aircraft.
Would anyone else care to venture an opinion?

Warlock fittet for Firefight support is a beast. Stick this with an Ulthwe SR5 and you get a deadzone around the titan where you dominate any enagement easily.

Even with Biel tan you archieve a deadzone around the titan. Because of his movement and farsight ability it better functions with SR5 but the same tactics apply to Biel tan.

I used to play Revenant's regularly but stopped as they tended to get killed to quickly.
If I were to use a titan at 3000 (and I probably wouldn't) it would be a Phantom with a power fist or a Warlock if I wanted to play lots of mobile FF formations.
The Phantom/Warlock just fits better in the hit and run FF support role and provides to TK weapons too.

For BT, I'd go Warlock. It's an assault monster. Aspects and a Warlock titan in mutually supporting assaults can make tremendous use of the Hit and Run rules and crush ridiculous amounts of enemy units. Even a fully shielded Warlord titan has to sweat when a formation of DAs assaults it with a Warlock in support.
