Yup, definitely time to start pulling out the Chaos Marines. Conversion bits for Dreads and Predators would be cool. Or better yet, how about a Chaos tank conversion set? It could be used on all Chaos vehicles. I've always thought the E40K Chaos stuff was too flamboyant. With you designing it I have a feeling it will be more understated, tasteful and utilitarian looking than the over-the-top GW style.

Coupled with the next fan based book (Black Crusade?) you guys could put together a nice little release!

Now that the base of the autocannon is a peg, instead of that big disc, the mold plane will run through the barrels. It should be straightforward.

This is also a deserving candidate for the metal treatment.

Well Otterman you don't haver to build the upper body so that the legs are multiposable :D I guess most of us would be glad to even have a Ironcrab which looks decent enough to be not mistaken for something else :)
