I take only one exception:

Epic:Armageddon is not a complex game, but it is not simple either

Not true. Epic is a truely complex game, rather than a complicated game like 40k.

A complex system is one whereby simple rules produce a difficult to predict and interesting output. That's epic in a can.

Complex and Complicated are not the same thing at all.
