So out of the successful armies what units were noticable by their absence?
For marines the I don't think I saw any Vindicators or land raiders in any marine army, good or bad.
For Orks no fortresses and a ratio of 1 buggy to a million skorchas (slight exageration).
For Imperials the Marauder bomber. Oh and the Emperor battleship

Anything else people can't remember seeing, either at all or just in the high placed armies?

I took both vindicators and land raiders at call to arms this year. It was a disaster even by my poor standards!

I remember Dave McElligot had mauraders at call to arms. But only cause he was a stand-in guy and had to use the pitiful guard army that GW gave him!

Don't think we saw any ork space craft (naturally)
Don't think there was any guard bombards or griffons either.

I took Griffons with my guard, but have not seen any Hellhounds & Basilicks (spelling?) anyone?

Ork Infiltrators and yes fortresses.

I don't remember seeing any striking scorpians or dark reapers in any eldar this year either.

I've used basilisks this year. I've never seen guard take a spaceship, and can't see why they would!

Damien Bradley took Dark Reapers at the last open war. Matt Arnold took a Lunar Cruiser
Dunno about Striking Scorpians
Leman Russ Demolisher anyone? possibly E&C had one or two of these.

Damien Bradley had a scorpion at the last OW. Can't remember if he had a Cobra, I don't think so.

Yep, zero demolishers. Does the list get bigger if you only look at armies that finished in the top 6?

Tom Webb took Marauders to the Epic London tourney.

I remember that they dropped bombs on a tactical squad for three turns in a row without much success.

I brought 3 Hellhounds in my mechanised-themed no-artillery IG army list, attached to a mech inf company IIRC.
