What, buy a Defiler?.. Nah, that would be pure rubbish why would I want one of those...

Ka-Ching! I'll take a kilo my good man!  8v)

If you think no one is interested Otterman you have got to get better prospective goggles. This project rocks. I've just been away most of the day. That and the EA Blah, Blah thread is bumming me out. Besides if we don't luv yah these's always Mr Pinchy.  :oo:

A little bit more detail on this part.

I'm probably not going to make the grumpy faces on the guns. I'm just not good at that.

Bella will be with me for the next week, so no progress expected until Saturday.

And thanks for the happy talk!

Tickle him under the chin and offer him some crayfish...

Or

You could simply PM him.

By the way, since nobody has translated the title yet (and for those who are curious), it means "little angry iron crab".  :))

Exactly how DOES one aquire an OtterMan â„¢ product?

You mean you can actually purchase them?

PMs are always nice.

The name was inspired, and translated, by my good buddy Scream.

These bronzes cost money, as is not-so-commonly known. But it's not necessarily me that has to pay the 3D printer guy, hint hint.

As a ballpark, I would say the bronze master for our petit crabe will have...
1 set of bottom legs, 1 cc = $30
1 set of front claws, 1 cc = $30
1 cannon body, 1.5 cc = $45
1 lower body, 1.5 cc = $45
Set of weapons, missile launcher, auto cannon, dual flamer, power scourge, 1 cc = $30

Dang, that's $150. However, that's about my experience with which had 7 pieces and cost me $140.

My estimates may be off. The only numbers I'm currently confident in are the legs and claws, which you have seen here already.

Some more detail on the side, top, and back.

The next step is a hard one: come up with a convincing head-like thingy for the top.

Then, make one of the weapons and decide how it will plug into this part

Then, detail the weapon mounts.

Here's something that I need feedback on.

The 28mm defiler design has assymetric weapons loadouts. The docking ring on the right side is larger than the left, and always houses the autocannon. The docking ring on the left can have missile launcher, flail, or twin flamer.

The question is this: should both docking rings be the same size, so that the 4 weapons can be position on either side? Note that this means the weapon design would have to be symmetric through one plane, but that's OK. The only loss there would be the weird axe blades on the end of the autoannon.

I was also perturbed that there were only 2 weapons connectors in the Defiler kit, so I'm making a mold.
