The rust spatters and collection at the rear of the tracks is not so dried blood like in the flesh, it's the camera I used.
I prefer the blood and gore though!

Beautiful model

Strangely my favourite part isn't the model itself, but the treadmarks on the base behind it. Really gives a great sense of weight as the behemoth ploughs through the battlefield

I used car body filler spread it on the base, placed a piece of cling film over it then pressed a track segment in, needed a little enhancement with a careful scalpel but the effect worked nicely.

Thanks for all the compliments, as you may have noticed it's not quite complete but I havn't decided which guns should go on the last two little turrets yet.

Better than my method. I've been experimenting with using green stuff to make tracks with. It's a pain in the bottom!

damm it!!! now you've started painting them i'll have to not completly ignore them in the next game we have, on second throghts i'll look at the model, tell you how cool they look and then run-the-hell-way from them for at least 3 turns!!!
