Hey

Ive now started to learn to get the pictures down to the right sizes - so here's my ork army. At this stage the picture shows all the clans I've got, and they all have their five support cards (netepic/2 ed rules). I've also got transports for all three clans, so that I could field an entirely "mechanized" army. I don't know how effective it would be in a game, but it sure would be interesting to try!

The only things I plan to add, that isnt there, are a mekboy gargant and a warboss with nobz. Haven't decided what clan the boss is gonna be but I think I'll go with Deathskulls or Bad Moonz, cause they both just look so cool.

A lot of the stuff is just painted in basic colours, and there isnt really any end to the amount of highlights and detail you could add. But with so many models it's not realistic to do it all. After all there's almost 100 infantry stands. How many hours would it take to highlight 500 ork faces? A sad thing with orks is after all that even with this insane amount of painting the army only weighs in at a bit below 6000 points. And I've got three more armies that need at least as much painting as this one...

Ah, that's a very oldschool army. Looks like those in the 90's White Dwarfs.

Nice choise of colors! Solid and neat painting!

Have you considered to use some inks on those? For example Flesh Wash works wonders on red and yellow. Ork miniatures has so much little details that would really jump up after little ink.

Nicodemus: Actually I've used ink washes on all the minis except the evil sun and deathskull infantry. The ink wash was not very deep however, and it doesnt show well in these pictures, especially on the red... Anyone have any tips on how to get the colours to come out better in the pictures?
