I recently received a job lot of Eldar I won on eBay (yay!).  trouble is, never having played Eldar in all my years of Epic playing, I'm not 100% sure of the models/bits.  Previously I'd have just gone to the GW site, looked at the individual models, and the pieces they break down into, but they don't sell bits any more......

So..... a litle help please?

I know this is a Scorpion, but I don't think it's the current version?  It's the Epic 40K version, right?

Likewise a Cobra, Epic40K?

It is only meant to be a two piece model?

Phoenix Bombers..... are these the right weapons?  Are there any more bits (tails fins)?

Do the Vampires use the same weapons?

Lastly.....

War walkers.... only 2-piece models?

How do they fit together?  There is a little hole in the back of the legs, but no corresponding peg on the upper body part, and they really just don't seem to fit together properly.......

Everything you have there is E40K ...  #1 is an E40K Scorpion.  #2 is the Cobra and it is only 2 pieces. #3 is the Phoenix, there are no tail fins for the kit(I made my own. Those are the correct weapons and yes, they are the same as the Vampire's. #4 are E40K War Walkers and the turret fits right on top of the legs. You are missing the wing which goes on the back of each ... Stand By I'll post pics ... of mine ...

War Walkers don't come with that wing anymore when you buy them new.  Specialist Games site doesn't show it, and I know the ones I just put together don't have them and weren't in the blister.

Well that explains it ... and it makes sense ... I was tempted not to put them on any !

I added a Vampire's spoiler to the Phoenix's tail fins ... A simple and easy upgrade ...

I think the current war walker models are the the ones from late SM/TL days - they have the multi-barreled scatter laser instead of the newer style. Also,  I don't think there was a E40k version that was armed with bright lance+scatter laser.

The E40K version had 4 different Turret/weapons configurations ... it shows that in that very poor pic I took many years ago ...  The SM2 is the "Eggman" version ... the TL version looks like the E40K type but without the wing. And there was only one turret type.  I'll post pics of them also.  Stand-by ...
