I've put together a simple tutorial for making one-piece moulds for resin casting. It's on my wife's website, so take a look if you fancy having a go.

Yes, more mold making tutorials...especially for things like Tyranid larger metal mini's with wierd sharp pointy things going off in all directions.  Like Trygons or other hard to find or really expensive on ebay mini's so I can get one, then make some low effort resin copies of said model to flesh out my stocks.

Hey,
Really nice tutorial reaver, and the pics are great!  This is perfect for people starting to do their first mould, because the single piece mould is the best way to start.
I also liked your tip about measuring the volume needed with water - I never thought of that!

Might I also suggest: wear gloves throughout the rubber procedures as well - if memory serves correct, I believe the catalyst is very harmful to the eyes.  In fact, I even wear safety glasses for this.  But then again, I'm paranoid.

Looking forward to the advanced tutorial!

Thanks, clear and simple. I've alway find that making mold is damn hard, but well i've directly tested with 2 parts molds, making simple one part ones looks more easy.
