I really like the air force and the skimming vehicles, very well painted.

Soon I will buy some of them from DR, but what to proxy with them in Epic:A??

There are definitely a lot of nice proxies around.  There is also a lot of room to create lists for races that the 40K games system does not go into in detail.  Numerous xenos races populate the 40K galaxy and receive mentions in the various black library novels.  It is also highly likely that thousands of races would exist that haven't been detailed in the small amount of material that has been put out over the years to document a huge galaxy.

Currently I am getting back into painting infantry again.



Some of these are on my custom resin bases.  I didn't put holes for the bases in so I had to drill them out but they came up alright.  I am still basing some on washers as I want to included ruined buildings on some.

Yep, Regardless of G/W Fluff, the galaxy would be(is?) full of aliens.  Some of the guys on a Star Gate site I go to use not only the SG teams, Jaffa figures, etc. but G/W IG, Orks, etc., for their trips thru the gate !    Love the paint job on those Lizzys !

Exactly and why not.  There are so many good miniatures around.  Why restrict yourself to using a specific companies figures even if you have a preference for a particular ruleset.  I just get what I like then try and find some way of gaming with it that I like.

Yes, my gaming table, has/will have G/W-F/W, DRM, E/W a few GZG & SJG ... and when O/C releases 6mm Slammers ... they all are in trouble !  I really like what you've done with your Lizzys. I'm still playing with different color schemes ...

Now one lot of infantry models finished.



They look nice and hordy together which is good, certain other board members have voiced suspicions that I am a bit of a horde type player and looking at the vast numbers of miniatures in some of my Epic armies and in my 40K guard, WHFB Skaven, etc I suspect they may be right.

I'm getting there.  I am finding DRM armies are really good for painting.  There is quite a variety of troops choices for each army so it keeps the painting process interesting but the models fit together well so the army has an overall look of unity about it when its painted.
