It was the Stompas box set with the Androids... I dont know much about the war Horde set.

Well the War Horde spure LOOKS id to the Stompers spure so there could easily be a good handfull of Necron stands in there. Nice haul for whoever gets it. $400 sounds about right since it is just plastic miniatures and rules...unless some mad collector comes along who just HAVE to get some particular piece from the lot.

The War Horde set had 5 sprues of each (the sprues were built so 5 sprues completed the SM formation sizes).  The stompa/dreadnought sprues are identical to the sprues in the later Stompa box.

Apparently, everyone did what we did with that first generation of army boxes, which was split boxes up among multiple people that wanted a single army.  They were later broken up into the smaller boxes with 10 sprues of a single type, then even smaller boxes of 5 sprues.  No changes were made to the sprues, though.
