How long did it take you to make the lander?

ive decided to make mine as well, but havent decided about front part

Hi,
@Chris I would estimate it by ~5 hours including painting (I stripped the paint twice so I don't include it). Maybe more, but a lot of time was spent of trying to find the parts to use. I'll post the painted pics soon.

@AWu,
The most problem I had is the cockpit, I couldn't find anything to use, and in the end started by making a rough shape with plasticard, and covered it with Magic sculpt. It was smoothed with water, and the windows embossed, and after it was dry it was cut a bit and shaped. Not the best looking cockpit but I couldn't think of anything else :).
The back part had some filters from a 1/35 sherman to use as burners, and spare parts from Japanese anime model, I guess that they can be easily replaced with plasticard parts or other bits

I'm really interested in seeing your Landa when you get to it,
Eyal.

Hi,
This Putty is called Magic sculpt, very easy to work with, and dry in the air to rock hard.
Maybe the investment worth it, it doesn't cost too much. I got mine from Michigan toy soldier, and for Epic scale it should hold you forever.
HTH,
Eyal.

Technicaly speaking
- who needs one ? :>

but the story is simple
we bought old wreck with of a gas oven our flat
it has working burners but oven works only as keeping space for frying pans

we being young married couples would hardly use oven (exept fimo of course :>
so until my wife wont chose and project her kitchen of dreams (including exchange of all kichen utensils) i dont have oven :>

itz quite easy
no kids, and if we want something cocked we eat it in the city :>

Thank you very much :),
I really enjoy building stuff but I'm just a beginner, still a lot to learn  :vo

I've painted the Landa, and did some more houses, these ones are bigger forts, before painting.

And the forts:

I intended to get a Gun fortress according to the army list I have, but made a mistake and got a battlefortress instead.
I really didn't want to spend more on another gun fortress, so I glued some plasticard pieces and some spares from the bit box and made a gun fortress out of it.

Hope you like,
Eyal.

Sweet fortress.  Modular fortresses is an idea I hadn't really thought of, but it makes perfect sense.

Thanks :),
I didn't actually thought of making it modular, just intended to glue the top to the chassis, but that you've mentioned it...

The battlefortress is a great platform for this type of conversion.
