Any and all items related to the Zombie Robot infestation would be wonderful!  And what is this Nectaris armor of which you speak?  I find your ideas intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Epic
   Cities of Death construction panels?

This entry intrigues me.

What would be even better than epic scale copies of the Cities of Death buildings would be addition building panels that match both the gray and black plastic E:40 ruins.

The gray ruins had 4 facade styles: square window, peaked window, split-peaked window, and brick. Only the brick facade parts had doors. Only the split-peaked window facades were taller than 2 stories (and they were the only half width facades as well.

I think if there were additional panels that matched the existing facade types, but with various widths and heights plus some panels with different types of doors (and a few inside corners to make L-, T-, and +-shaped buildings), that would be awesome.

Also, it would be nice to have some 2-story versions of the black plactic ruin strips that came on the E:40k infantry base sprue.

Just some thoughts.

Now, on the 40k-scale side of things, additional CoD building panels would be awesome. I always thought double-height and double-width panels would be useful, as well as more "plain" panels. Plus, if some panels were made to match the styles of the old Necromunda bulkheads, then using both on the same table top would look so half-baked.

I wouldn't bother making a LRC conversion kit just yet.

My poor little strep-throat afflicted daughter is with her mother, and Yen is at her second job, so now it's time for daddy (that's me, in Khmer "Ba") to MoI.

The Heckhammer needs an adapter. But the Baneblade is an "outey". Both SG and FW versions have separate turrets, unlike the Stormblade/Stormsword, which have a fixed turret and plug-in cannons.

Hence, this model. But would a Heckhammer do any good in a fixed turret? If not, I would need to design an entire Bane-style turret enclosure, and that's not going to happen, considering all of the other things I want to do.

Another thought for the CoD panels:

You could always make the windows, doors, buttresses, steeples, balconies, etc., as stand-alone pieces.  Then people wanting to make their own can make a box (wood, styrene, foamcore, whatever) and decorate it how they like using the pieces above.  The windows could be in several styles and could even have gridwork panes using Onyx's technique of plastic banding material.

This way, people could have buildings of nearly any shape (cylindrical would be difficult for the windows, depending on the width of the window pieces and building) and size they desired.

Just a thought.

ForgeWorld (10£ for 2) or Specialist Games (18£ for 4) range ? Is this release planned for this century ?

I say design and produce the Hellhammer cannon as an orphan, so that it requires only a simple conversion (Snip off the baneblade gun, replace with Hellhammer barrel) of the existing Baneblade turret.

Design it to match the FW one in style/size.

If the barrel is the only significant difference in the turret I'd say that the barrel would be good enough for the adoring masses.

Given that you're left deciding SG or FW. Did the printers have the capacity to do FW sized rivets? I was left with the impression that they did not. In any case, I'd vote for SG sized rivets as those are the ones more readily available.

I'd like to see the building panels - CoD stuff would be great, but full walls based on the Epic ruins sprues would be even better. Most of us have lots of ruins - it'd be lovely to have non-ruined buildings too!

I'd also like to see Titan weapons - it's a project I think of doing weekly but never get round to, and it would be better done with this kind of technology anyway. You could design a couple of universal gun mounts - one for old style Titans (beetleback, reaver) and one for the current SG Warlord. Then design a variety of guns to fit them.

One question I've been meaning to ask - the cost of printing the stuff you've already made seemed pretty cheap to me, but does it go up a lot for larger items?

Regards,
Reaver

The cost is based on volume, so the larger the piece, the more expensive. This is because you're essentially buying 3 things: time on the machine, material (cheap for some types of machines, expensive for others), and investment outlay for the machine.

Based on experience with 3 different types of machines, I would say the lower bounding limit on rivets is .33mm by .33mm.
