Just a quick note - The EA Tau development board is currently read only. This is a temporary measure, in place while I work on the next version of the list.

While I am am very happy that discussion has picked up here, and I hope that this doesnt send people away, there are two reasons for this:

1. Discussion has gone round and round and we really are not getting any further forwards. I hope to channel discussion along more productive paths following the next version of the list.

2. Each time I put a new version together, I actually go through every post and every thread that has been posted since the last version, making a list of the comments for each unit in the Tau list. I then balance this against my own opinions and goals in the next version of the list, making changes to one unit at a time staying cohesive in the process (I hope).

So, please bear with me while I ruthlessly steal all of your great ideas to take credit for them...    This process should take between a week and two weeks, but I will get this done as quickly as I can. So, please have patience with me while this is ongoing. I am happy to take comments and suggestions through the PM system here, but I probably cant reply to all messages right now.

Just a short note to let you guys know that I have had a heavy week at work (heavier than I thought I would!). The process of putting together a new version of the Tau list will take a little longer than I originally planned, but I continue to work on it as fast as possible.

Hi. This board is now open again for comments and posting. While the next version of the Tau list is not quite ready yet, it should be available soon (a couple of days), and I wanted to open up discussion again here.
