And that's not all. The box contained lots of empty space and a pressure gauge and manometer. The latter are probably going to the mechanical engineering department. But within the box they were kept in place by a rigid plastic moulded surface. Turned upside down I get the feeling it might just be useful. What do you think? Note the stunt shoebox Vindicator for scale, on loan from the Angels of Fire after cleansing the Nid infestation of Monopolyville.

That's a nice, sturdy box you rescued.

I've done it before with plastic packing inserts, and IIRC so has Van !  I'm working on an AEgyptian temple ruin using an insert from a cell phone box !  :D  And again nice work, Van :)

Cell phone packaging is grand  8v)

I will be AWOL for around 10 days, fleeing the island for a short holiday with the wife who is working abroad.

I might pop in occasionally, though.
See you all.

Cool box V. Will make a great industrial complex.

And I have never seen Vindicators doing stunt duty before- I hope the pilot was on double time!

Cheers

James

Either take the bottom 1-2cm off or build up the terrain around it maybe to make it look like lots of buildings rather than one?

I was thinking along precisely the same lines - particularly the former. Another idea would be to build up a glacis round the rim, sloping away from the buildings - very retro, but that's the Imperium for you!

L-4 - say, Roswell (UK) might be a good name for Monopolyville. UK as I am currently planning 4 fleets - Knight+Vatican (!) vs ottoman Turks, and British/Torchwood vs VanderWellin/Pirates.

WI - don't worry, my Box Vindcator crews are the best-paid there are given my predilection for these square beasties; and stunting around earns triple-wages

Firstly enjoy your break, anywhere exciting?

Is that a lemon squeezer? of course not, it's an aeronef!

Oh, you!  :p  :vD
Actually it's a Christmas decoration...

As exciting as Sheffield - I'm afraid I won't have much time for meetings as the wife has planned a grand tour of what seems to be half England in just a few days, and since she's abroad for a long time (6 months) we need the time together.
