All this, of course, is highly dependent on who made the models (wants to sell? wants to give up all rights?), what the IP rights are in his country (some countries don't allow IP rights to be signed away - Germany for instance), and the cost to FW to make the runs (even a small amount of money might not be acceptable if there is a budget freeze for instance).

If he wants them officially produced, he has to decide first on if he wants compensation or if 'credit' is enough.

Well IIRC, and please correct me if I'm wrong ... this most gifted artist lives in Israel, yes ?   During the '48 Arab-Israeli War, didn't the Hagannah make Sten SMGs in a secret machine shop under a laundry that cleaned British Officers' uniforms ?    How hard should little, itsy-bitsy, tiny Zombie Robots be ?       Well ... just a thought ...    8v)  :blues:

Back when it was still unclear if there would be any more E:A miniatures after the Swordwind releases people were pressing Jervis for Tyranid minis. And he made it rather clear that all offers of miniatures/greens were of no interest to him and GW because it needed much, much more than just beautiful miniatures to have them produced.

Keep your mouth shut and make a limited run. And don't wake the sleeping lion. ;-)

I would like to see a Space Marine next to your Necrons for size comparison. :-)

Really inspirational stuff! These are beautiful. You really do need to find a caster for these, even if just for your own use. It would be an awesome army to take to a tournament.

Lovely, lovely work - you ought to send pics to 6mm manufacturers - you could well pick up a few commission jobs on the strength of these.

Can I ask what tools you use?

Regards,
Reaver

GW copyright law says that a model ahs to be changed significantly 8 (Eight) times from the original model or design to be counted as none-GW. Also any model that fits this description may be multiplied and supplied on a none-profit basis to anyone the creator so wishes.
GW however still owns the rights to the original design and may retract anything that resembles their models too closely.
The other problem is the loss of profit laws, but as GW produce no epic Necrons, this isn't a problem at the mo.
