cheers for the comments guys, sometime in the next few days I'll be getting all my infantry painted (a mere 31 stands) and also the second of my heirophants and maybe my vituperator. I'll also be posting up some pics of my EC painlord titan that I bought today just to prove that I can still paint things without using the new washes :D

Well after a long break I managed to get my painlord titan done, and have started my DRM bug hordes for my infantry. finished building the second heirophant and started the dominatrix (and then promptly ran out of spray paint :sulk: ) anyways here are the pics I managed to get before my camera ran away on holidays

Onyx do you by any chance mean this mini? :whistle:

I'm too scared to try to convert it much incase I stuff up the sculpt and all it needs is spore cysts, anyone have any ideas how to model those?

Ok where can I buy such awesomeness from.  I bought flying rippers from forge world for some form of effort at doing them but they are so fiddly I have sold half and the rest are still in their bag.

The Chaos is looking awesome.

Lol Mark the mini's are from privateer press Hordes, Legion of Everblight (which have some very similar designs features as nids)as for the spore cysts I'm going to try and make them out of adrenal glands with extensive dry fitting first, and hopefully get the rest of my nids painted by the weekend bar the dominatrix which still needs alot of work.

I am going to have to fail on this one!  The Legion of Everblight Seraph & Angelius Alpha Warbeast just got added to my WTB list for when I start work again.  I'll have to do a lot of greenstuff work on it so mine doesn't look too much like yours and Onyx's versions.  My attempt at using flying rippers just doesn't quite cut it compared to that.

Lol Mark thats fine, I don't have exclusive rights to it feel free to leave it unchanged (I can't actually find any spots to change!!) though the angilus is simply to big even for a vituperator IMO (trust me on this one :;): ) Flying rippers would be a good conversion for a winged tyrant possibly? I finally have some spray paint again so I shall now get painting, and to give you an idea of how big my dominatrix is, it barely fits on a 100x100mm base :vD
