So what armies can we expect? I'll be bringing my Daemonhunters. Moscovian = dark eldar? Corey = Necrons?

I believe ePilgrim is bringing Squats to annoy Jervis.
Jonathan P will be bringing Chaos (Black Legion).
The other Jonathan (OJ?) will bring Eldar most likely, but which Craftworld is unknown at this time.
Corey will bring Necrons as far as I know.  He wants to show off his new Monoliths.
Dark Eldar for me - just because I want to.
Robert A. (registered from the Games Day website) will be bringing Orks.
I can't get a hold of Ilushia these days but Corey is going to call him.  If he shows he will definitely be bringing AMTL 3.11 (as I won't allow 2.0 ever again :glare:).

That's all I have so far, disappointingly.  I really was hoping having it posted online at the GW site would bring more people the tables.  What I am finding though is that MOST Epic players don't even check online.  I ran an Epic table for Specialist-Games Day at The Portal in Bethlehem, PA this past Saturday and in a single afternoon I recruited 4 people for an Epic club, most of them are older players who used to play Space Marines and Titan Legions.  They got so excited!  In 3 months I went from having 1 person to play with to 8-10 people and the makings of a club!

I'm hoping for the same thing to happen at the CT tournament. When Dave and I play at The Time Machine, we often have people who used to play SM/TL and expressed some interest in E:A. The owner even mentioned that he's viewing our tournament as a demo for E:A to rekindle interest in Epic.

Yes, I will be there. ?And it won't be pretty ?

Bring it on, Nec-Boy.  (And the smack talk begins...)

There are some possible late comers who may register, bringing us up to 10 players.  Not bad for a US tournament IMO (outside of Memphis that is).  If we can get 10 people I think that will be a big statement to GW.

UPDATE:

Registration is up at nine and there are 3 maybe's on the fence. ?If all of them register that fills every table space at the tournament. ?We have Eldar (Biel-tan most likely) and two IG players who are going to be there.

There is still talk of prizes from GW but I do not know what it/they would be. ?I have confirmed that there will be two trophies (playing and painting). ?

An email from Dave Taylor today was incredibly upbeat and supportive and I dare say there seems to be a strong desire on the part of the GW-US staff to see this tpurnament succeed.

Yep, though it may come as a shock to forumites but I wouldn't put more than 10% of my epic contacts as online.

Edit in reply to a point raised in post 62

Another registration - we're at 10 solid participants and a couple more are on the fence. ?My guess is we'll fill all twelve slots.

Sounds like you may want to ask him for more tables!!!!

I doubt we'll get more than 12 people interested but that would be a fun email request for me to send. ? I had serious doubts if enough people were going to show but Epic players are crawling out of the woodwork. ?You can bet next year will be even better.

So far the lists coming are:
Dark Eldar
Demiurg
Necrons
Daemonhunters
Orks
Chaos SMs
Eldar
Imperial Guard
Imperial Guard
Space Marines

Regardless of the tourney gaming, are there any clubs sponsoring gaming events or after hours entertainment?

If not do any of the local Epic players want to join me for the delights of the Inner Harbor night life?

Details pending on the results, but the tournament was a success.  Bullet points:

10 out of 10 showed up.
Feedback from the players was good.
Feedback from GW was excellent.
Jervis was presented with a copy of Raiders.  He was pleased.

More to follow.

That's excellent Mosc. Way to bear the Epic torch.
