You can't die as long as you have unpainted miniatures. :)

Ok I probably became immortal a couple of years back by that theory!  Unless I suddenly become a really really fast painter.

Well if I can't die until all my minis are painted - I better change my name to Duncan or Conner McCloud !    Also yesterday, I got some 15mm QRF alien plants. 4 types, they look like big alien Tripid/Venus Flytrap kind of things. That 6mm Sci-fi guys would find on some exotic alien world ... or on a 'Nid planet.  :alien:  They needed a little more prep work then I initially planned.  But still I almost completed most of my Salamanders ... :D

Some seriously tasty models appearing in this thread!
It's great to see all the different manufacturer's stuff, too - there's a lot of figures out there I hadn't considered buying but now I've seem them here my wallet's getting itchy...

Great work everyone - keep posting, I'm loving it!

I signed up for a Star Gate mini gaming site on Yahoo. As I saw on TMP some of the nice terrain they were using. They use some nice Egyptian Temple and Temple Gate pieces, Statues, etc. from a kids Lego kind'a set. So I ordered the set on Amazon. I thought these structures might be too big. But I looked in an old 2001 National Geographics, I had. There were color drawing of Temples and Gates, etc.  It looks like the pieces in the set are fairly accurate. Looks like structures from Luxor or Karnak. And the drawings showed how really big these ancient buildings were.  So I'll add these to my Egyptian terrain. Don't know who I'm going to give the Lego-style Egyptians to, yet !?
