@munky79 - sounds like it's a close race for slowest painter. These tanks took me about a week once I got going so I guess you just about take the lead!


I have to say that the effort is definitely worth it.  Your army is looking great!

Well, since this thread has been resurrected (thanks for the kind comments) I'll have to get a few more recent pics up. Since doing this I've finished the two infantry companies, all but painted the stormtroopers and built up the warhounds. I'll get the camera out tonight... (and maybe even the paintbrushes!)

Well the paintbrush didn't make it out to play  :(  but the camera did  :) .

Thanks for the kind comments, it certainly helps with the motivation and coming from a bunch of fine painters it's high praise indeed!

Oh, and if you've looked at the earlier pictures you might have noticed a slight improvement in the photos (less yellow tones). For this I thank my daylight light bulb, apart from using that I made far less effort with these than the last set but it seems to have helped (I didn't bother setting the white balance or adjusting brightness etc this time).
