I really like the tracked gun.

It's a techmarine-only gun by the way.

Great, train a man - well, space marine - to be an engineer and waste him firing a gun. It's like training a sniper and then using him to excavate trenches - using his rifle as a tool.... but I guess a unit has no place in 40K unless it can fire at least 4 barrels worth in one turn...
Hey, I'm ranting   :p
Still - love it for VSF :)

Bad hair day

Come on Van, a real engineer carries a flame thrower and assaults bunkers!

Yeah, but he doesn't drag a tracked cart behind him, let alone the 'bad hair day armour!
Guess how many bunkers I've flamed incidentally...  :p
Mind you, Faculty Board Meetings are tougher.

Yeah, and the provost would probably not be happy with you for frying the engineering department.

TRC, flamethrowers are a one-shot weapon.  Once used, the flamethrower team heads to the rear!

The best news about the new plastics is that GW re-cut the landspeeder (that horrible vehicle of never-fit-together), and it has all the variant parts on the basic sprue.

Latest rumours are saying that the flame weapons on the sides of the tank are not Inferno Cannons... they're S6 AP3 flame weapons, which don't have the long range of the Inferno Cannon but are more powerful.

That'd mean that the stats would look more like:

Land Raider Redeemer.
Speed : 25cm
Armour : 4+
CC : 5+
FF : 3+
Weapons:
- 2x Super-Heavy Flamers (AP3+, 15cm, Ignores Cover and  Extra Attacks (+1), Small Arms, Ignores Cover).
- Twin Assault Cannon (AP4+ / AT4+, 30cm)

Notes: Thick Rear Armour, Reinforced Armour.

Transport: Unknown (Let's assume the same as a standard Land Raider, but it may be the same as a Crusader).

Still equal in value to the other Land Raiders?

If its range drops with no transport boost its air drop only in terms of usefulness.

Yes. With Superheavy Flamers only it would have the same problems as the Predator Incinerator that it can only fire 1/3 of its weapons most of the time.

Are you talking about the 40k rules?

IIRC Marines are getting a rule in 40k that allows them to fire more weapons than other tank types when on the move.

No i'm talking about Epic.
The Predator Incinerator is in the Salamanders list for Epic which is a Destructor with Heavy Flamer sponsons.

Ah I see.

Yep its range is quite a drawback.

Picture of the Land Speeder Scout/Transport:
http://www.sphaerentor.com/wh40k/galler ... peeder.jpg

Rumours say it can transport 5 Scouts (and only Scouts, no Powerarmour, etc) so 1 unit in Epic.
