I was in my sculpture class and i had the idea of using the swooping hawk wings (i kinda chopped it up a little to sharpen it and make it more claw like.) to make a claw for the scorpion exarch. Really, its way too big to be the claw that they use, but i had no other ideas. What did/do you guys use?
Also, are terminator characters fairly easy to convert? Ive just been saying to myself that theyve been using artificer armor (it has the same save but no invulnerable save by itself) so i wouldnt have to think about it, but i figured actually wearing terminator armor would look better. Thoughts?

Terminators are one of the best epic scale infantry pieces to use as the base for conversions. All the basic areas of the miniature are easy to get to & adjust (Arms at the sides not across the body etc.) You can see some of my conversions on this page: 101 terminators I've also copied the SM captain in terminator armour model: terminator captain scaledown
And most recently, Logan Grimnar, WIP pictures can be seen here: My Workbench And finished and based for Golden Demon UK here: gamesday 2003
Hope those provide some ideas.
I enjoy working with terminator models as a base, but Blood Angels characters are next on my list - still, if you need any ideas, feel free to ask here, PM, or email me ?

As far as the SS exarch, I would suggest trying the claw(s) from a daemonette.
I had the idea of taking the chainsword off a scorpion and putting it where the shuriken pistol is, coming straigt out in line with the arm. This would be like the chainsword on the old 40k SS exarch with the katar-style grip. Then replace the (former) sword hand with a daemonette claw.

the wing on the arm looks kinda cool, i guess the size is hte same kind of phenomenon going on with the chaplain and his weapon being as tall as he is.

Do you mean SH (Swooping Hawk) Exarch?
I'm getting images of Eichman and I don't like that...
Really, what's SS?

Maksim: What vitamins said. He was asking for ideas for a scorpion exarch.
Incidentally, I also use SS for Social Security in debates on political forums. It drives the pro-SS folks crazy.

I don't know about the other movies in the "indy" series but Raiders of the Lost Ark has some hilarious scenes. Like Indy hiding in a submarine for a lengthy sea voyage...

Trivia tid-bit: There was supposed to be a big fight scene there, but Harrison Ford (? correct guy? can't remember!) thought he'd just shoot him for a laugh. It was meant to be an outtake, but the director liked the comedy scene so much, it ended up in the film!

Hi!
Your correct Tuff about that scene, also the "arab guy with the big sword" was real pissed by the decision since he had taken classes for the sword fight.
