I suppose I could have built one over the years (for epic).  But I chose to make 2 smaller armies for other people instead.  ?456 isn't totally impossible I suppose- that's 19014 times cheaper! (so says my calculator.  Surely that's not right :glare: )

You haven't costed for the size of table needed to field one.  Or weekly gym/hall hire, as is more appropriate.

yes exactly my point so think the thought a IG regiment (10000 men or 36000 point in netepic or ca. 60 companies) alone on super-heavy company cost 180? or 250? for a laman russ company

Heh... I've got enough 40K models to deploy a 2,700-(epic)-point Ordo Malleus Strike Force... none of it's painted, but heh...

Besides the 40K rules suck, that's just another reason to keep away from 40K and play 6mm Sci-fi !  :D

Over 8 million pounds.  Your kidding right?  What could possibly make the bulk of the cost up that high?  What goes into a net Epic Chapter?

That would buy you 23 thousand forgeworld thunderhawks my my maths.  Which would cost you over 400 thousand pounds to by that many AI ones.  Surely something has gone wrong with the maths here?

I think that's 8670.811 using the comma instead of the full-stop to separate the decimal fractions (3 figures because it's not been rounded off somehow?).  ???

Sounds more reasonable, though having three decimal places kind of really confused me.

Taken from the GW website, in one form or another...
"This box set contains 1 Space Marine Commander, 5 Command Squad Space Marines, 6 (10-man) Tactical Squads, 2 (10-man) Assault Squads, 2 (10-man) Devastator Squads, 1 Razorback, 8 Rhinos and 1 Vehicle Command frame. For a total of 106 Marines and 9 Vehicles."
And all for 300 pounds.  Now I have no idea what the heck NetEpic is, but there is no excuse for an 8000 pound army, unless you want a full chapter, with complete vehicle support, air support, drop pods, Thunderhawks, attached Titans, and EVERY model is FW.
