Hi guys, Some bits and bobs of my minis from 2 games I got in last weekend. Thought you guys might be interested.
The Russ company is in my bad books at the moment- you'll see them about the smash into 2 SM LR dets, whcih they subsequently cleaned up very nicely. The next day they failed to pass a single initiative test ALL game. The Regimental Commissars were busy with field executions that day I call tell you....
check out the pics labelled "Epic" http://www.users.bigpond.com/oglover/picsindex.html
These are from the 2nd game: http://www.users.bigpond.com/oglover/paulpics.html
and yes Chris those pics of the Chimera variants are especially there for you and the De'Aynes gallery as I couldnt see them in there. If you need them seperately submitted let me know.
see ya, Tas

Quote (primarch @ 26 2003 Sep.,23:56) | By the way, I'd advise the commander of the land raider to shot at that red leman russ in the middle of the formation... |
You can tell which one I got as a trade (along with the red hellhounds) just recently then?

Great pics Tas ! Looks like a good time ! But get those Red vehicles in tactical colors ASAP, Sailor !!! And you may slap whoever you got those from repeatedly for painting them Red !!!

you've made the classic mistake of assuming that the command vehicle was the red one...
but was it...
could it not be "bait" to entice the enemy tanks to open fire therefore showing their location
anyhow
really nice pics Tas
BaneBlades look very "German"!!!

And of course the Command Chimera variant

All vehicles are official GW models from 2nd Ed era, WD article "Chimera Assault" in WD185 introduced the variants.
Chris- feel free to take any and all pics you would like for the gallery.

Yes, I have a mixed platoon of those Chimeras, I like them. And nice paint job ! Panzer Gray - not Fire Engine Red !

Nothing a good coat of "Panzer Gray" can't fix ! That was one neat thing about the E40K models, you got a lot of options ! The L/Russ had 5 different turrets available, one with sandbags. It looks good, but the all the stowage on the Imperial vehicles, took twice as long to paint ! But the results were worth it.
