I think that it is interesting how FW made modifications to the previewed model from the last UK Gamesday to make it look more like the original Epic Reaver. The legs are more splayed than before, the the shoulder pads are spaced further away from the rest of the carapace. It seems to me that they took great pains trying to merge the model they showed a few months ago with the original Epic design.

Of course, it may be that the model shown at Gamesday was just assembled incorrectly.

Now if only they'd make this Reaver and a Mars pattern Warhound in Epic scale. Maybe they could talk to E&C about that.

Will Hayes (The chap who sculpted this fine Reaver) says that if he gets a chance, he'll sculpt new Mars Pattern Titans for Epic in truescale.

What that means, is that all the Titans would get about 20% bigger. :)

In the mean time... I might make my own Reaver. :)

True scale is nice, but I'd rather have a Titan that was in scale with the others.

That's only because you know if you get one you'll have to get a whole new legion :-P

I didn't think that the FW Titans were that much different in size that the original Epic models. Aren't the Warhounds the same height; the FW ones are just wider, right?

Still, I agree that true scale is nice in theory, but not in combination with the pre-existing epic minis. I still think all the FW aircraft are way too big.

As of now, the F/W Titans are about the same size as the G/W-S/G Titans ... Now most of the SM2 aircraft are smaller than the E40K and the F/W aircraft are a lot bigger then both. The F/W SHTs are bigger than G/W's ... But the F/W Russes are smaller than G/W's ??!?!?  ??? Does any one else see a pattern here ?!  Like they got their heads up their #$^*("  !!!   :D

Yes.

All FW Epic models are exactly 1/5th of the size of their 40k compatriots, unlike the SG Epic models which were 'that looks about right' or in the case of aircraft and Titans, in a completely different scale altogether.

If FW ever revist the Titans, they'll do all three, and they'd do them Truescale.

FW really needs to invest in a 3d scanner and printer combo.

Or outsource it...

That way they could just sculpt the 40k scale ones and print off Epic scale ones with no extra fuss.

I personally cannot imagine that scanning and printing off Epic scale versions of things like the Malcador or Macharius wouldn't pay for themselves in short order.
