Yesterday i tried my hand for the first time with converting/building in epic scale and it was so much fun. I didn't have to be so picky or careful as with 40k scale. I'll trying and get some pictures to upload later today.

Its a Gargant for my girlfriends ork army.

So here he is :D





Turned out a little bigger than i pictured him in my head before i started. I put my warhound for next to him for a size comparison.





I had an absolute blast making him. If anyone has any critics please shout them out. I want to improve as much as i can :D. Hopefully by tomorrow Kat will have him painted up.

Lol, used a foam cutter to sculpt it out of two bits of 1" insulation foam glued together.

Now that's a cool Valentines' Day gift......here honey, I got you a Gargant!

Actually... last year for V-day one of the gifts i bought her was a Warhammer Fantasy Lahmian Vampire :laugh:

when she came home and seen the gargant sitting on the table she jumped for joy. Tomorrow she's painting it and i'm facing it for the first time tomorrow as well. I'll probably regret building the machine which brings my doom.

Hopefully a painted picture tomorrow or the day after.

Hahahaha

Well she finished it at lunch today so here are two pics, sadly my camera doesn't do the model justice.



The Banner is the only part i had to help her with as well as demonstrate how do paint the checker pattern. The flames were all her though.

The little orange lightning on the bottom left plate is her warband's symbol.



I also added a magnet on the right shoulder and will later make another turret so she can swap it between a Gargant and Great Gargant whenever she likes.
