I reckon you had a chance in the Engagement (You were +1 before the dice and you were Engaging against Lictors in a Firefight... how were we to know that it'd be a draw and the Lictors would consolidate into CC!).
For the record, I trounced Rug's AMTL something rotten (In fact, if I were Rug I think I'd now burn my dice!), either 4-0 or 5-0, depending on whether I could take the BTS during turn 3, which looked likely (We didn't play turn 3 because the game was clearly over, with his army 80% broken, although not much had been actually destroyed).
