I wasn't aware there were any feudal governments left. You learn something new every day.

seems it depends on your definition of feudalism:
The ubiquitous Wikipedia link

Happily it proves my belief, that I didn't quite know what feudalism is.  :)  I was right via ignorance, hurrah!

Still, Sark seems to fit the bill as well as anywhere might.

Makes you wonder at wikipedias reliability sometimes:
Sark entry

Nuclear physicist coup

In 1991, an unemployed French nuclear physicist named Andr? Gardes attempted a singlehanded invasion of Sark, armed with a semi-automatic weapon. He was arrested by the Island's police officer (who at the time was Little Sark farmer Philip Perr?e Jnr) while sitting on a bench, changing the gun's magazine.[3]

Ok, so following the reference link, it seems it's true.  How did I not notice that on the news in 1991?!

Im not sure if we should be happy or sad..... I hate politicians

yes but the idea of a sovereign ruler is not that good an idea after all because some of the most memorable of those is Hitler, Stalin, mosolini, mao, pol pot, sharlaman, napolion, and the list goes on an on you see where this is going by democracy you have at lest a chance every 4,7 or 8 years of booting the mad men's out

Mussolini was never an absolute ruler. King Victor Emmanuel was nominal head of state.

Mao is the greatest killer of the 20th century!

But I loved the economist article on his management style!
