nice paint job on the epic Khorne.
i am going for a daemonic and machine hybrid look to the chaos titans. made two warlords but not happy with the legs so are going to have another go tonight to fix them up also going to try and make a tyranid bio-titan tonight as well.

Sounds like a good concept, go for it ! And thanks, my Khornate forces are basically black with red and gold/bronze details.

here is some better pics of my scratch built Chaos Titans.
the first two are my Warlords, followed by two Reavers [they were originally going to be Warhounds but got to big]
Warlord Titan armed with 2x Carapace Missile Launchers, 1x Gatling gun [eg, Auto-cannon, Vulcan mega-bolter ] 1x defense laser/macro gun [eg, big gun],

i'll get some more pics of the Reavers up tomorrow they've been inked so are not to bad, i might still give them all some high lighting....but then again I might not as I want them to be dark and menacing.
Starting my attempt at a Bio-titan. we'll see how that goes.

ok I've dropped the idea of doing Bio-Titans due to the fact I couldn't get the legs to work on the body. also scrapped the Imperial titans as I couldn't get the reavers legs to work for me and the warlord titan looked to overloaded and clunky.
So I've decided to make two more chaos Warlord titans and two Chaos Reaver titans.
most likely these new titans will be from the Slaanesh Cult.
I got one question. do I have to only use the chaos weapons or can I use some of the imperial weapons instead?

another thing whats the smallest points people play for Epic? Looking at Titan Legions and see some of the weapons only deal to light tanks and infantry not titans.
I have modeled some of these weapons on to my titans and not sure what to do. etc etc

Yes, there is no reason, that you can't use Imperial Weapons on Chaos Titans. In AT1 that's the way it was. As far as Titan weapons, that depends on your Tactical concept of Titan deployment in battle. My local gaming crew and I see Titans as heavy mobile weapons platforms, in support of ground forces. A Titan's first priority is to destroy other Titans. Any shots on any other target is a waste. All firing should be directed at other Titans. Once there are no enemy Titans left, then shots can be directed at other targets. That is our Titan Battle Doctrine. Titan Tactics - armed with heavy weapons, no close combat weapons ... Only ranged weapons. Maneuver Titans into firing positions and blast the enemy Titans. So according to our tactical doctrine - arm your Titans with weapons that can kill other titans at long range. And we generally play 3000-4000 point games. 1/3 of those points (based on E:A) can be used on Titans, Attack Aircraft and off board support, like orbital weapons, distant batteries, etc. ... So in a 6000 point game, 2000 can go for Titans ...

my two Khorne reavers have power claws. not sure what to give the two Slaanesh reavers.
So how many points worth of epic would I need to have field 2x warlords and 2x reavers?
if I buy 2x packs of chaos epic figs is that going to be enough infantry? if I am only fielding Khorne or Slaanesh by them selves [eg Khorne Vs Slaanesh chaos wars]

Well at current Epic:A costs - Warlord = 850 pts ; Reaver = 650 pts. When I say 3000-4000 pts, that's per side. Not total ... So if, for example, your Khorne Force is going to deploy 2 Warlords (850 each) & 2 Reavers (650 each) = 3000 pts. So 9000 pts total with 3000 going to Titans. That's a pretty big game. Two boxes of Chaos infantry is good. Do you plan to have any other Chaos vehicles and/or aircraft ? Do you have the current Chaos Rules ? They are available here, on line.

yeah maybe some tanks and stuff...
looked at the chaos legion of the dammed. looks just like a chaos imperial army......
thinking of doing a Khorne and Slaanesh version of this.
any advice?

Khorne and Slann are fine. I'm a student of combined arms, and even though Chaos has Deamons, I fight them as such. And since you are going need 6000 points of other than Titans, Deamons count toward that. And you get them in the Chaos boxes with the CSMs, etc., anyway ... ?Since you are going to use all your 3000pts (1/3) on Titans, you can't afford aircraft, or orbital support. ?So your Titans can/will provide the fire support for the rest of your forces. Try to mount all your CSMs in Rhinos or Land Raiders for mobility. And support them with Tanks, and as much Artillery type weapons that are available to Khorne and Slann.
