IIRC the list published by FW had already been revised a couple of times before we knew that this was coming out. If you allowed this list as part of your campaign I'm sure that you would find it overpowered. Why don't you use the latest version of the list, Steve54 feels that this is suitable for playing at Open War and the testing, even under campaign conditions is always useful.

First up. Congratulation on the IA3 book. Whatever I feel about the army lists, the book itself is fantastic.
I dont think that there is anything fundamentally wrong with the EA Tau list there (although it does pre-date my active involvement). Sure, there are a few things that are not great, but overall not too bad. My problem with it is that it is effectively an 'in development' list that has been improved since then.
