I waer glasses/contact lenses too. Until now i have converted one base of Terminators with Sergeant (powersword), two with Thunderhammer&Stormshields, one with Lighnighclaws and one with Assault Cannon from the Land Speeders.

My Scouts are equipped with Heavy Bolters from Land Speeders (twobases so far). I use the metal Scouts, so repositioning of the arms was quite easy but painful for my fingertips :D

I have great respect for making sniper rifels but i really want to try :)

BTW: Land Speeders are really a great ressource for Assault Cannons, Heavy Bolters, Heavy Flamers, Multi-meltas and Cyclone Missle Launchers :D
Now i only have to find a way to use the weaponless Land Speeders ?:glare:

True. However I haven't got any of the new speeders, so I've stuck to assault cannons from old plastic dreaddies, meltas from the old Squat trilkes, thunder hammers made from Beastmen axes, stormshields made by gluing two beastman shields together. Cyclones and lightning claws are scratch built from plasticard.

My Thunderhammer&Stormshields come from beastmen too :D But i didn't modify the shields.
Lightningclaws and the Sergeants Powersword are made from Beastmen swords too :)

Here's the finished scout stands. The Heavy Bolters may need a tiny blob of Green stuff to emphasize the left hands.

They look fantastic.  I wish I had the coordination for such projects.

Well apart from catching a flu, I've managed to tinker with an old project that I never got around to actually finishing.
I always figured that my "Wotan" Ordinatus Krieg needed some kind of ammunition truck like you'd see with the WW2 gun that inspired it. So: With a Br?enhilde, some plasticard and a few bitz from the old bitz box I threw this little thing together to finish the model off.

Commiserations on the flu
Because, you see, I got it too

It can be dangerous if it leads to shabby poetry.  :p

Nice job, what went into that?  3 pairs of IG tracks, a Basilisk hull, a Deathstrike hull and what else?

Do you play it as a Deathstrike or Orbital Bombardment :-P?

Spot on O-man :) Monday a package arrived from Tom with some of the new EW releases. So far I got the Assault Pods and the Bounty Hunters ready for a coat of paint. The Bounty Hunters are 20 to a pack: 10 rifle guys and 10 pistol gunmen. The Assault Pods are one heavy load: No less than 15 pods to a pack to carry an entire Centuria to battle.

Regarding the Wotan: I never actually made any rules for it. But Orbital Bombardment sounds about right I think.
The chassis is made from various spare bitz of E40k IG ranks: 2 Bombards, a griffon hull,  and a number of other odds and ends I can't quite remember anymore.

Van: Yeah. It must be some worldwide epi©demic like SARS or something. Seems everyone I talk to today has been hit :S Papa Nurgle must be proud :p
