Is the army list posted correct DS?  I was going by memory.

You said the only change in last weeks game was you swapped out the Volcano Cannon for another Gatling Blaster, correct?

Overall I never found I had DS swamped with bugs.  Certainly not in the first game.  In the second I put a lot of hurt in the first turn but then struggled to get into assault after that.

Yeah, army list looks right. And yes, the only change I made for Sunday's game was swapping the Volcano Cannon for another Gatling Blaster.

I'm sure Dave will be posting a BatRep for the game we played yesterday. I played Orks for the first time against Dave's Nids. I'll save the details for the report, but I will at least say that it was a blood bath.

The first turn took an hour and a half :p, there were a lot of assaults.  The Orks dished out a lot more hurting then the AMTL has done in games passed.

BatRep should be up sometime this week, it was a close game at 2-1 in the third.  A Blitz Brigade failing its activation and its re-roll was what lost DS the game.

Dave and I met yesterday for games with a new inductee into our cult, um.... I mean club. We each played a 2k game against Berzerk Monkey's Orks. He had only been able to watch for our recent Epic tourney and apparently we managed not to scare him off.  :)) Dave played phase IV Nids and I played the Tech guard list for the first time. Considering these were his first two games of E:A ever, Berzerk did well. He managed to take me to turn 4, which I won by points. What didn't help me were my numerous failed activations (at least 6). I'm sure Dave will be posting BatReps.

I need help. I want to post some pics from my recent trip to the Lone Star State, but I've never posted any pics before. I don't know how to do it and I can't seem to find anything that gives me step by step instructions. Any one want to give me a guiding hand? Keep in mind that helping me post mundane pics will increase the likelihood of posting pics of minis.

Hey DS,

First off take a deep breath, it isn't so hard to do mate. I am far from being an expert in these things but as a new comer to the site some of the chaps here helped by pointing me in the right direction...
Do you have an account with a free picture host like Photobucket? Getting one is step one. Follow the registration instructions.

Once you have your account set up all you do is download pictures from your computer to Photobucket (for example) as you would normally (just like document files).

Once you have done that you copy the Direct Link gobbledygook link thing and then paste it onto the box that comes up on TacCom when you hit Image

Like so...

Hope I helped and wasn't to patronising or anything.

Looking forward to your pics for TacCom.

You can also attach one picture to each post, without needing an account on the web which already has your photos. When writing your post, click on the 'Browse' button under the text window, navigate to your picture on your computer and 'save' it.

I can browse to find the pics I want, but I'm not sure what you mean by "save it".

Hey DS,

'Browse' to the file your picture is in, click on the image and click on 'OPEN' and the image file will become attached as if by a complicated series of computer programs and machinery... or as I believe, magic.

Nah, there must be something wrong or I'm not telling it right. When you try to attach a picture (IMAGE) have you typed anything in before hand. I notice it wont allow you to attach without typing in stuff first.

1) Try clicking on BROWSE at the bottom of the Reply window... A Window emerges with CHOOSE FILE at the top.

2) Click on the correct file in your computer to access the correct IMAGE. You may have to hunt for it among your computers files for where you have it saved.

3) The IMAGE you want to attach must be 150kb or below in size or it wont be allowed to attach to your REPLY. Also, you may only do one attached image per reply.

4) When you have the image that you want click on it and then click on OPEN at the bottom Or just double click on the image. either gets the job done.

5) The Image will be attached.

Now I think I see the problem. I'm trying to post pics bigger than 150kb. How do I resize them?
