Sorry I didn't get to see anyone, but I was too busy reminiscing with the GW archivist over lots of old products.
Well not a lot on Epic about - there was a lot more in 2001!
The new Epic models were really nice.
Jervis confirmed that at some point there WILL be an Ork submersible and that Keith was fibbing to me at Bristol Conflict.
I was surprised to see "plastic" Warmaster figures and plastic warmaster scale Battle of the Five Armies miniatures.
I did like the plastic Bretonnians, especially the characters.
Will Hayes is "mad" and is getting his eyes tested today!
The Tau Orca for 40k is HUGE and even bigger than a Thunderhawk!
FW have a range of multi-pose Space Marines.
FW should produce everything they do in 40K scale in Epic.
FW are producing an Ork Heavy Bomma.
FW are also considering more large miniatures aka the TaU Manta.
The next FW Big Book will be Space Marines and Sisters of Battle.
Volume 3 will be a campaign book, Imperial versus Tau.
Volume 4 will also be a campaign book, Imperial versus Orks.
I was surprised by the lack of NEW stuff in the Lower Hall - just two display cabinets and nearly all that Bretonnians.
Lots of BFG games in the main hall.
The Mega-Battle with 20 Titans was disappointing even if they did have a Titan Drop Pod!
Well I may remember more later.

As for "plastic" warmaster, there have been a lot of "plastic sightings lately for models that end up coming out in metal and dissapointing people.
The reason for this is that GW (& Fanatic) have implemented a new casting process which starts by making resin masters. These are the ones seen at Shows & often mistaken for plastics. Dont get your hopes up.
On the range of multi pose marines, if you mean Will's 6mm ones, they're not in production and its unlikely that they will be made in the near future. However, Tony does tend to change his mind on the spur of the moment so there is always hope!
Will is also going to work on some terminators for epic, probably Grey knight style, but no promises that they will ever even get as far as the production room!

Well they (the Warmaster miniatures) did look like resin, however I did see three-ups for the LOTR Warmaster Scale miniatures - which are required for plastics. I thought I saw three-ups for the Warmaster Bretonnians.... but now I am not so sure ?- and the GW person wouldn't let me take any photographs...

| remain unknown....
more I don't know how to introduce myself, as "Hi, I'm Jimbo aka Felix etc...." sounds a bit silly and there is always the danger the person goes "who?" This was especially the case with Jervis.
Actually I was elsewhere when the 2pm meet took place, I had missed the opportunity to get into the Lower Hall up until then.

I know one of the warmaster sculptors did a LoTR series about 14months ago, but fanatic said they'd never be doing LoTR in warmaster scale. Perhaps GW has taken it on for themselves?!?

I know what you mean, it can be weird, especially if your look doesnt really fit your online ID (I know I dont fit "TuffSkull"...). Thats the one benefit of my dreaded Epic40k.com T-Shirt. Its embarrassing as hell & looks awful, but it makes it clear who I am, so I can rely on others to make themselves known to me

Oneday we'll find you amongst the crowds......
