I miscalculated the range of the Tau Pulserifle, Pulse Carbine and Smart Missile System. Pulserifle should have 30cm AP6+ (so Firewarriors would have 2 x 30cm AP5+) Pulsecarbine should have 15cm AP6+ Disrupt (so Pathfinders would have 2x 15cm AP5+ Disrupt) Smart Missile System should have 30cm AP6+ no LOS required

It is an interesting document.
I have to admit that the Pulse Rifle coming out at that result did make me smile.
I will also admit to using 40K as a guide only in respect to EA stats and functions. I am not sure what to comment on beyond that. Your calculations seems entirely possible and logical, and not a million miles from what we currently have.

That was my goal. I'm not surprised that many stats are the same as are currently used and/or playtested.
But the main reason i asked for comments was because of my proposal for rules for Markerlights. I feel the current rueles don't do them justice and my proposal reflect better what Markerlights are supposed to do.

Your Markerlight proposal draws very closely on the 40K rules. I have already stated that I am not a fan of Markerlights in 40K.
However, beyond this, I think that the system would be too complex. A force could have a dozen Markerlights, and there would need to be tokens to determin which units had been 'lit up' and what the desired effect of each hit would be.
Do you think that this system would be workable at 6mm and grand scale?

You chose the desired effect at the moment you fire at the lit up formation. Yes, it is possible to have each shot with a different effect but i think this would be rare. And yes i think this is workable on 6mm scale.
