Well, it seems to have taken me ages, but I got the EpiComp entries done!

The first I finished was the Bloodthirster, which I thought would take ages, but actually took about 3-4 afternoons.




Then I painted the tanks, one of which I submitted as a single unit, the others were going to be with my Battleforce entry:



The Battleforce is Traitor Guard for a Slaaneshi L&tD army I'm doing.  Next, for this army, I'm doing another three Ragnaroks (which'll count as Leman Russes), lots of Daemonettes, a Keeper of Secrets (already assembled), and maybe even a Slaaneshi altar and Feral Titan!




Finally, from my Exodus Wars stuff, my 'inverse desert camo' (it should be brown over Khaki, but I've done it wrong!  ???  :confuse: ) Guild army - as well as these I've painted a formation of Centuria, with another two of these two paint.

Excellent stuff Firestorm. That Bloodthirster is a real beauty )If you can say that about a Greater Daemon :p ) The glow effect from the lava is particularly effective!

Thanks very much, lads! :)  @WMN, I was pleased with the blending of the red on the 'Thirster, which I must admit was using the same recipe you said you used on your Chaos Imperator Titan Calligula (sp?).

@V, when I've only applied their basecoat they look like they're made of p*o! :O  So I think I chose an unfortunate colour scheme there :p :laugh:

No update for a month (!), but that doesn't mean I've not been busy.  First up, I've painted another three Ragnaroks, which will proxy as Traitor Leman Russ in my Slaaneshi L&tD army.  I'm not as pleased with these as I was the first three, for some reason these are darker, the rust is too orange, and the varnish has been applied too thick :glare:



I actually finished these nearly two weeks ago, since then I've been painting 12 stands of Daemonettes, but I'm entering these in a competition on Epic_Fr, so I'll post pics after I've entered them there...

After these, I'm going to paint a Keeper of Secrets.  Thanks for looking! :) :cool:

Very nice models.  I can't wait to see how the slaaneshoi daemons turn out.  If you can make a follower of the blood god look pretty, they are sure to be swell.

Hello, just to let everyone know that I've posted a thread with lots of pictures of my Slaaneshi cultists and Daemonettes over on Epic_fr; there's also the background fluff I've written for this army, but it's in French so you may have to crack out the translators ... :;): :D  Thanks for looking! :cool:
