Yay for the 4th ever topic in this sub forum.
I am running a BFG tournament in a couple of weeks. So I thought I would go on a bit of a terrain building exercise.
One visit to a craft shop, a few polystyrene balls, tile glue for texture, wooden dowling stands and craft wooden coaster bases and this is what you have.

For those of you in WA the tourament is called SPACE BALLS, combining blood bowl and BFG in one event. Grab your tickets from GW and come along, $15 for either system.
Sunday 9th of December at PMGG (Rhine-Donau Club,110 North Lake road, Melville)
BFG... BFG will be 750 points using the current rules and fleets at: http://www.specialist-games.com/battlef ... lebook.asp The Forge World Tau fleet list in the experimental rules section will also be allowed http://www.specialist-games.com/battlef ... /vault.asp
This will be run by Me.
BB... Bloodbowl will be 5 games of Bloodbowl Sevens. Rules are available on the specialist games site, however these were written around a previous version, so I am currently updating them. The rules will be in the players packs as well as posted up here when I have finished them.
This will be run by Drew
Cost will be $15 for either system (and no you can't play in both)
Players packs can be downloaded here:

the effect on your planets is different than what im used to seeing but its really realistic..did you just sluge on the filler?

Will try and get some pictures of the event.
The filler I just sort of slugged on and then wet my hands to try and smooth it out a bit and get some craters. I think I wet it too much which caused cracking where the filler is too thick but then I decided I liked the effect anyway.

Excellent texture effect on those planets. I'll steal the idea.

Added some moons to the collection.
I also made up 40 orbital mines out of BB-Gun pellets and the little poles that came with the old epic square bases and a broken kids necklace.
