One of those games that as a kid I wanted to play but could never afford is back. Who says that projectile games are unsafe for todays yoof?

Hah, I totally had a couple of sets of that from a car boot sale when I was a kid.

The day the last crossbow snapped and we had to rely on the inferior catapults was a sad day indeed.

The catapults weren't as bad as the ships and the monsters though. Particularily the Minotaur which could flip a disc about 3 inches

I used to rig the catapuls with extra rubber bands in order to make them fire.

Problem is, they'd end up so powerful they'd set off the 'you lose' pressure switch on your own castle any time you fired it... :D

I had this game as a kid and while at the store the other day my son saw it and told my wife that he really wants that for christmas this year.  When he found out that I actually played the same game as a kid he thought that was preatty cool.

Weapons and Warriors was my favorite.  To my knowledge they don't make it anymore so I bought about seven boxes worth off eBay and now I'm storing them for when my girls are old enough to not swallow the marbles. :)
