Favorite Knights?

The various Knight designs can be found at our usual haunts, such as EpicCollector and Stuff of Legends.

Also, note the attached newer catalog Knights.

So, which Knights please you the most?

My two favorites are the quirky crab-like Paladin 3, and the newest Lancer.

Yup, love Crabby also. Actually, I like all three of the old Paladins. The old Wardens aren't too shabby either.

The Baron and possibly the Lancer are my favourites of the newer designs. The visible lance just feels more "knightly". The Crusader and Castellan look pretty bad IMO: Never liked the positioning of the weapons...
I've recently taken a liking to the old Armadillo style Wardens though the old Imperial Knights never appealed much to me in general. The long legged one with the spike helmet was particularly bad IMO.

The Eldar Knights on the other hand are pretty awsome. The Bright Stallions and Fire Gales are brilliant IMO :cool:

Dont like Knights at all ! :O ?The plastic ones that came with TL, I converted to Chaos. ?Knights could go with a Chaos Force IMO. But I never really liked any of the G/W designs for Human or Eldar. If I was going to add Knights to my forces, I'd use BT models. ?But none of my armies are short units. ?Save for Chaos, "the Army that G/W Forgot", so that is why I gave my TL plastic Knights to the Dark Powers. ?:D

The old, old Wardens :) :) :) :) :) and Warmaster's helmet knight - one of the old style lancers.
From the newer (hah!) types, the Knight Errant - especially the commander.

Hehe. Why am I not surprised V :D The Spike Helmet one does have a slight VSF'ish feel to it though: Like that CGI movie with the WWW2 German and American mechas fighting posted here a while ago.

I tend to agree with L4: The plastic knight in particular always reminded me a bit too much of Space Marines with Bionic arms :p I acrually attempted to build a more mechanical looking one some years ago but the project never really got anywhere.

Yes, I converted the TL plastics to Chaos, add some different heads, bitz, etc. ... I posted pics a ways back. :D  3 Nurgle, 3 Tzeentch and 4 Khorne ...  Chaos has alway been short on vehicles. :D

I like the classic paladins and wardens , well the warden with tracks was very poor  :(  but the others are fine to me.

The classic wardens and lancers are easily the ugliest and stupidest looking Epic minis made IMO (although the Fire Gale in stilletos goes close).  The Baron is quite impressive and probably ties the old Bright Stallion as my favourite.
