Well I woke up at some ridiculous hour in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep so this is the result.
The first monolith (the painted one) I am not really happy with at all. I set out with the idea of making 10 of them out of plasticard but I wasn't happy with the results at all.
The second one I am going to neaten up and then try and cast the rest I need and then add the weaponry and top curved bit to the resin versions.

Monoliths are a pain but you've made good progress on it in just two iterations. How are you planning to get that indented look (see pic)?

I think I am going to definitely have another go at the monoliths. I think I will definitely have to give it a bit of thought and wait until I get a bit more free time on my hands.

I haven't really done much work on any other Necron stuff yet.
I have some Chaos androids (maybe a couple of units max) but not enough for the whole army and they are generally too expensive to get more so it'll be a mix of DRM and other proxies for me.
I will probably use warp spiders with necron tomb spiders for heavy destroyers. Something from DRM with warp spiders for regular destroyers.
For the rest I am likely to copy from the suggestions you and others have made on the forums.
