I've heard that...

But in other news, I think it is very likely I would get quite a few at some point. Maybe not immediately.

After a brainstorming session - the EW team can confirm that the Edenites will be fielding skeletons with guns.

Don't the Tarragins have to field something like this: http://www.lostisles.com/public/images/echidna.jpg
Only with four arms with claws and a more snake like head of course? The Gorgon or Echidna of Greek mythology always looks like this. You could even name it the "Echidna".

And then it would make sense to incorporate an Edenite version of this creature. Maybe with an easy to clip away pair of arms so it has only one set of arms with blades?

I would buy loads of the first and a little less of the second!

Lamias (and a shedload of other snakey creatures from around the globe) more so than gorgons, which were merely snakey-haired, but that's entirely beside the point, which is that I wouldn't mind seeing some four-armed snakey creatures either. :;):

Need Skeles for the Hordes of Evil army and DO NOT want to buy any more Irregular 6mm stuff.  You could also paint the skeletons with lasrifles silver over a black undercoat too I guess.

Edenites are way off down the development path - We have produced the majority of the Guild and Khazari forces, we have new units that will continue to be added to the range over this year, but this year is the year of the Tarragin, so expect to see many gribblies added.

Next year's focus hasn't been confirmed, but we've committed an awesome amount of development resources to producing fluff and conceptual art for the Royal Empire.

The Edenites are a brand new race, a manufactured race if you will and will be growing in an organic fashion as their threat manifests itself in the EW universe. In time they'll become a major player with a full range of miniatures supporting them. At the moment we are just using them as random events when you take objectives - guardians if you will.

I am really hoping you find the time to squeeze in another random objective event with skeletons with guns. :-)

We'll see what we can do - it all comes down to dedication of development resources, each unit is grown from the expanding background. We have to have a justification for each unit and a reason for it's existence to avoid units becoming redundant as we bed down our background.

We don't want to sell models that we can't find a place for in our army lists :). But I can tell you that Skele's have supporters on our dev team.

But without skeletons with las-rifles who will protect the zombie families?
I'd get an initial basic pack out ASAP Tom :)

Some things are just begging to be made...

Give this man a wage rise, more peanuts, a family car, or whatever you pay them in.

Sir, I salute you, and even though they don't say it, so does every other player on the forum.

My Edenite Legions will rise from their slumber soon enough...
