Awsome posing
Personally I might consider moving the titan's feet further to one of the sides of the base to center the model above the base itself. REgardless I too look forward to seeing it painted

You're right, I didn't plan ahead when I glued the left foot to the stand. I'll try to do something about that, but I'm not sure cutting through the greenstuff will be easy...

Anyway, thanks for the compliments, guys.  :D

Lovely work, you've really done this model justice with that graceful and dynamic pose! :)

Hmmm.. Perhaps you could get a knife blade in between the GS and the plastic base and loosen it that way? The GS doesn't form that strong a bond with the plastic so with a bit of fiddeling it just might work. I underestand that it might be tricky since there's a risk of breaking some of the miniature itself in the process though  :confuse:

This whole thread should be compulsory reading for all Epic players!

GREAT work Hojyn. It is impossible not to be motivated after seeing all your outstanding armies.

Hi,

here's a "new" version of my Warlock: I had to give it a bath of paint stripper after a failed basecoat... anf of course, the stripper dissolved the glue and softened the greenstuff. Well, this allowed me to center the Titan on its base and reduce the amount of glue used on the model (I had been a bit too "generous" the first time).

My Phantom and Revenants Titans (see previous posts) also took the plunge in the paint stripper, and here's my new Phantom:

I know, I know, it's off-center again...  :p

Next up, in a few days, the Revenants and another Phantom.

Hi,

I just finished my second Phantom and my Revenants, and here are the pictures to prove it.  :)

Phantom Titan...

... and its little brothers, the Revenants (much inspired by Mageboltrat's own Revenants).

Group picture just before the base coat.

Wow, the posing on your titans looks great.  Which I had seen this before sticking all mine together.

Hi,

here are a few pics of my fortifications, just finished for next month's tournament in Lyon.

Empty...

... and not so empty ?:)

Closer views

The painting was really easy :

- textured spray from GW
- Boltgun Metal drybrush on metal parts
- water + earth pigments on the whole

The fortifications are from DaemonScape, and they are quite good looking for a reasonable price.

Beautiful  I remember seeing those fortifications somewhere before. Who's the manufacturer?
Also nice rust effect. Did you use that makeup kit from Testors?

Fantastic work, and again the weathered effect is top notch.
