A final attempt to take out the BTS goal. I managed to get 5 BMs and 1 more DC off him - so close and yet so far. Had the VoP survived, it could have easily gone the other way.

That is the last of it... Forgot this pic from the first game - it was turn 2 and toward the end. I think we ended it around here. Anyway - the Kashnarak saying "Yummy. Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside."
Comments are welcome.

Thanks for the reports! Now necrons have lost, but when does DE win? You seemed to have different amounts of luck at those games, but they seemed to be much fun.
I see your kabal has grown in size too, great!
About DE stats: Slavebringer:making it count towards air/titan allowance is not good idea. DE has only available AA in that area, and if transports are counted in that section too, it really hurts balance of whole army. (even I don't personally use many SL:s). Armour 4+ is not boosting it too much. VoP:yes, you are right, 4+ armour could be deserved for heavy tank. Coterie: when compared to their craftworld cousins, they are bit more expensive even though they have bit better stats. Discount would be nice, but just a little one. Kashnarak: I haven't found it overpowered in any situation so far. just little exitement factor, but it rarely does anything important. Executor: You didn't use this in those games, but that seriously needs (still) more firepower to reflect it's cost (or discount instead). Reavers: good unit and bit better stats than craftworld jetbikes, but on same cost 6vs4 doesn't really make up for it. maybe for example 6 reavers at 250 or 4 at 150 could have better match with abilities and costs.
But they are just my ideas.
I'm waiting to see more of your reports, thanks.

What I may do is try to break the Slavebringers and see what that does. If I can max them out and still lose then I'll leave it alone... You may want to try to do the same. Maximize your 1/3 aloocation then bring as many Slavebringers as is viable. I wonder what it would do? My thinking is an opponent wouldn't be happy with a list that can conceivably be well over half airpower.
On a 3000 point list, you can bring 1000 points of air units/titans. The remaining 2000 points you could conceivably bring 5 formations of Warriors and 5 Slavebringers which would mean 2000 points of airpower (7-9 formations). That seems broken to me, but I won't make changes till I see it in action.
As for the Slavebringer's stats, it is already at 4+. In fact the only thing that the Slavebringer has going for it right now is the 1 shadowfield. The next step in armor would be a 5+RA which would put it in line with the Vampire armor-wise, with only half the firepower. However, this would mean giving out reinforced armor which does not seem to match anything else on the list except the Tormentor and the Executor. Do you think a price cut would be more appropriate or a slight change in stats? I don't think another shadowfield is a good idea.
I am still not convinced about the Executor. It's true power is in the form of its massive transport capability and Webway portal. Another Phantom Lance? Another set of Twin Desolators? What were you thinking? Have you playtested it?
I'm considering a change on the Reavers but I am not sure yet. Maybe 175 for the four units and 100 for +2 Reavers. That means you can get 6 for 275. That is pretty close on the price per unit to Shining Spears, minus the lance weaponry but adding the extra speed (which is pretty big IMO). Thoughts?

Kick the Tank platoons. They are doing exactly what I feared. Allowing taking more formations with same or better punch than companies, also giving more activations and diverted firepower. They are simply not needed(and were not in the list until 1.5) and more than that, they seem to break the list.

OK, is there a link on making DE units somewhere, or is this all going to be in Raiders?

Thanks for the good words.
Soren - I posted some feedback over on the Minervan thread.
TheLimey - here is the deal. I will be happy to help anybody on making Dark Eldar stuff. If you want to start making some stuff NOW I can email you some stuff and you can get to work. If you aren't in a hurry I'm going to include a lot of stuff in Raiders. Charad did the bulk of the tutorial work and I have managed to throw some other things together. I don't think everything will be covered but there will be some basic tutorials on infantry, Raiders, Ravagers, etc. I think that most of it you'll be able to do with just some pictures of the final products and a list of the components (complete with part numbers). I copied Charad's work on some things, modified it on others, and completely diverged in some cases. Our Barges and Vessels look very different (my pictures will be part of the EpicComp as well as Raiders) but I think that is a good thing - it will give hobbyists a chance to explore different ideas and maybe even come up with their own.
Getting two box kits of Talos and three 40K Raider sprues (the ones with the warriors on them - not the big parts) is a great place to start. With that you will have components to build three Slavebringers, two Perditors, two VoPs, two BoPs, and some other things as well. DE BFG bits are also a boon.
