Well, I dont really know what this means...

However, I would not be surprised to find that they are in trouble over a switch to pre-paint and a messy change to Confrontation fourth edition.

After being personally disappointed with Confrontation, I am feeling a little smug. I do, however, hope that Rackham pull out of whatever trouble they have (and help out those of us who still like Confrontation third edition and actually painting stuff).

Oh dear - although I am not a fan of prepainted models, this would be a pity - they have some inspiring stuff, and offer honest competition to GW. :(

That's not good news. Even if I don't play a certain game, I'm usually sorry to see a company go under.

I'm surpised considering how much AT-43 flew of the shelves here

YMMV. Except for the first wave of releases you can't find the models or books for sale around here. I've heard similar stories from other people in the US and Canada.

It doesn't look as if it is selling well in the UK or Europe though which appears to be causing the problem

As well Conf sales appear to have tanked

I bought the AT-43 Initiation set - but I've just not had the money to get any of the other stuff, as much as I'd like to (and I really like the miniatures, such as the Tac Arms).

I think I'd get the new Confrontation set, as it's got Wulfen in it I believe

I hope they pull through, they make some great miniatures.

This is something that came up on Warseer. It seems a little naive for Rackham to believe that Confrontation third edition would sell well, after announcing the move to fourth edition, not dealing with small scale any more, only using pre-paints, and other problems. Are Rackham really surprised that people stopped buying?
