Hi Guys,

I was wondering how many people saw the total lunar eclipse last night? ?Not as spectacular as a solar eclispe of course, it was still rather cool regardless.

The kids and I watched it in the front yard, my darling wife brought us hot pancakes and the dog got into the spiriti of things by howling at the moon too!

I took this pic about half way through, which I thought might interest you - interestingly, a 5x zoom isnt much over 3 miilion miles!

Pity V, you would have liked it.
I looked caefully, but there were no green flashes visible...

Well it went very red immediately after the eclipse!

Shoot, I forgot all about the lunar eclipse. It probably slipped my mind because I would have had to have gotten up at 5 AM, two hours earlier than normal.

Missed it too, as I only live a few states south of Dwarf/S ! :(  I did see the beautiful moon rise on my way home from work, out of town.  It was a pale orange ... and huge ... just above the horizen ...  :alien:
