Hi!

Gentlemen! We need to wind up the errata/revision process soon, so as to get it all to WMN and thus finally begin the end process for netepic gold.

I'm thinking about September 15th as the deadline date. I would like all those whom have followed and maintain the errata process to contact me at:

Another question is what armies havent had errata yet?

I think we've covered off the Imperials (and given proof-reading feedback on the Marine Gold book),  Eldar, Chaos, Squat (thanks Scream), Slann and mostly covered the Tyranids.  We've had a few discussions on Orks, but I think that is in need of a fair deal of work still.  Tau is done!  I think we covered Sisters of Battle with the other imperials....so what's that leave?

Hi,

it could a good idea to pin all the erratas threads in the NetEpic Rules section (at least until the 15th september) so it  would easier to check what was reviewed and if we find some errors if they have already been checked/solved.

A great job sould be to post in the first post of each Errata thread all erratas instead of reading 4 pages of dicussions to know if a point has been checked or not (yep, it's not a cool job)...

Ok, Chaos is done.  It was such a significant effort fixing up the source book and then added all the errata and changes that I might get a pdf made and post it here so others can proof it again just in case.

Orks and Tyranids next.  Did we come to a conclusion on the rules for Hive Mind card generation?  I'm happy to leave it as is given the current state of balance :)

There wasn't much errata on tyranids. I believe they are one of the armies we changed that was pretty solid mechanically.

The only tweak I'd add to the hive mind card system is a +1 card per living Dominatrix. It makes sense and is easy to apply.

I'll add in the Penetrating vs. Bio-Titans, and the "non-regenerated wounds are permanently lost" clarifications.  Name change of Devourer to Ripper Swarm and addition of Winged Tyrant too?  I think they got a green light in the discussion thread.

I only PDF'd Chaos because the source document was such a mess and needed so much work.  It is also the one that had the most changes/additions/errata.  Most of the other books just had errors, spelling mistakes and the odd badly worded rule.  Orks, Eldar and to a lesser extent IG had a bit of work; most of the others were pretty minor changes.  Also, most of the .doc versions are missing all the neat graphics in the V5.0 books.  I didn't try tracking them down as I figured it'll all get redone as part of making the Gold version.  Note also that the locals found another 6-7 mistakes since the Chaos version currently on the mailing list.  

Depending on the delay, it might be worthwhile uploading updated/errata'd  V5 books.   We'd be happy enough to build them if Primarch thinks its' worth putting them up on NetEpic.org.  I know I'll be using the errata'd Chaos book until the Gold version comes out :)

Would be nice to have the pdf's while we're waiting on Netepic Gold.  Would also allow people to print a less ink-intensive version if they prefer.
