Its certainly an iconic work from the start of the film industry, but is it the first Sci-Fi movie ever?

Released in 1902 "Le Voyage dans la Lune" , later rleased in UK and US as "A Voyage to the Moon" is a classic, includingthe famous footage where the spaceship land in the "Man in the Moon's" eye!    :D

I've seen a clip of that on the History Channel.  Pretty imaginative, for the time ! Very Jules Vernes or even the H.G. Wells !  :alien:

Very perceptive Ralph - the storyline of the movie is a mix from works by both authors!

Hmmmm.....moonshot gun.  Maybe one in 2mm scale as an aeronef ground target?  Now there is an idea....
